Harold is a 7 year old, tri-colored male. He is an Open level trial dog on sheep and has won or placed highly in several trials over his career, including being a Calgary Stampede finalist. He is my main competition partner.
Harold is our pride and joy! He is a line-bred pup from the crossing of Sky to Marvin that we kept from our 2012 fall litter. He is the last pup of Sky and our beloved Marvin. Harold has a great temperament with people and is a spitting image of his father Marvin. The combination of Marvin's talent and tremendous heart with Sky's excellent feel for stock proved to be a great crossing. Harold has an excellent eye and feel for his sheep and is always in the right place at the right time. After a successful Nursery year and excellent showing at the 2015 Calgary Stampede where he came 4th out of 60 dogs on the 2nd day, Harold has become my top Open competitor. Harold also can work cattle well. He has produced pups that have gone on to be both successful as sheep and cattle dogs.

Boomer is an 11 year old black and white, short coated male. He is a big framed dog with lots of presence. Boomer is now retired from competition but was my top Open trial dog in his prime and was both BC's top Pro-Novice Arena trial dog, and BC's Open Arena trial Dog of the year. He was also a successful Open field
Boomer is a son of our late Diesel and Sky, kept from 2009’s litter. He is a carbon copy of his sire Diesel. Boomer was a stand-out since the day he was born. He is a very self-confident dog that was the alpha pup of his litter and substantially larger than the rest. Boomer was named BC's Arena Dog of the year for 2013 in Pro-Novice. His debut in Open began in 2014 and he has been a strong competitor at that level. He earned BC's Arena Dog of the year for 2015 in Open. He is a beautiful natural out runner and possesses Diesel’s excellent balance. He is very biddable, extremely intelligent, and was very easy to train. Boomer matured into a dog that can handle any stock and any chore. He has taken Diesel's place as my "go to dog" to get tough jobs done. Eyes clear of CEA through parentage.

Eeva is a 2 year old tri-colored female. She had a very successful first trial year as a yearling competing in a couple Nursery and Pro-Novice level classes. She will be running competitively in the Nursery class for 2020.
Eeva is a very special girl that we kept from our breeding of Abby to Harold late 2017. Abby required an emergency c-section for this litter of 9 pups, and the moment I was brought in to the ICU to see all 9 live pups swimming around in the incubator, I fell in love with Eeva. She was the tiniest of the bunch, with this unique ying-yang swirl over her face and head. She was the feistiest of them all and at that moment I knew she was my pup. When her eyes popped open at two weeks old, her bright blue eyes were more than a surprise ! I decided to name her Eeva, my little Alien. Eeva not only is my very special girl, but she is proving to be a very talented dog to train. She is hot-headed and has a short fuse when she doesn't understand something so she takes patience to train, but she is the perfect blend of her parents Harold and Abby. She is a beautiful outrunner and has a really good eye for balance. She has an excellent trial future ahead of her.
Eeva has a clear DNA panel through parentage. Significance for breeding : Eeva can be mated to any male and never produce pups Affected with any of the 7 testable diseases by PawPrint Genetics.
Eeva has had her hips OFA certified and her hips were rated GOOD.
Abby is a 6 year old, black and white female. She is also my main Open competition trial dog. Abby had 3 litters of pups in her career and is now retired from breeding. She is a loving member of our family and will carry on as my 2nd Open competitor.
Abby came to us from Manitoba. She not only brought some excellent genetics to our breeding program, she has become a great Open trial competitor for me. Her sire, Del'Mar Skeet comes from very good breeding, carrying two international supreme champions in his pedigree. Abby's mother Nell can be traced back to 3 time US National Champion, Berhow's Nick. Abby is a sweet and calm minded female that makes everyone who meets her fall in love with her. On her sheep she is a big outrunner, has beautiful balance, is very stock smart, and is the type of dog that I love to work with. Abby is the mother to our Eeva.
Abby has been Optigen DNA tested clear for CEA with genetics rated Normal.
Abby is also genetically clear for the full border collie panel as of 2017 testable diseases as both her parents were tested clear on the full panel.
Significance for breeding : Abby can be mated to any male and never produce pups Affected with any of the 7 testable diseases by PawPrint Genetics.
Abby has hips OFA certified with rating GOOD.
Josie is 2 years old. She is a tall, black and white female with a big frame and athletic build. She is a looser eyed dog on her sheep and an excellent driving dog. Josie will be running Nursery in 2020.
Josie is a full sister to our beloved Abby. We were so happy with Abby that when the opportunity arose to acquire this pup we couldn't resist. Josie possesses all of her big sister's great qualities, including an excellent temperament and keen stock sense. Josie's training on sheep is really coming along and we are looking forward to her future as not only a great producer of quality pups, but a successful competitor as well. She is strong on her sheep, has good balance and is a natural driving dog. Josie has a clear full genetic panel through parentage, and will be OFA certified when she is a bit older. Her sister Abby was OFA Good and their parents were OFA Good and OFA Excellent. All her pups will be genetically clear for all testable diseases as of 2017.
Arya is a yearling, black and white female. We are very excited about this awesome addition to our kennel. Arya brings some excellent bloodlines to our breeding program and is already proving to be such a talent to train!
Arya came to us from King's View Ranch in Moore, Idaho, USA. She is definitely proving to be an excellent addition to our roster, and she brings a blend of some of the best sheep and cattle bloodlines you can find. Her sire is Don Helsley"s Wizard who had an incredible trial career and is the Grandson of Canadian Sheepdog Champion CV Joe. Wizard is also the son of L&M Ryn who won the US Cattledog Championship. On Arya's mother's side you will find a blend of excellent ranch and trial dogs working both sheep and cattle . Arya is just starting her training, but is proving to be a very quick learner. She has excellent balance and tons of forward on her sheep. She is fearless when it comes to her stock yet very biddable to train , and has unbelievable stamina. She no doubt will be an excellent future trial partner!
Her OFA certification will be done when she is older. Arya is CEA clear by parentage and her full DNA panel is pending.
